Hoocrates is a Dark-type owl with the personality of a sleep-deprived philosophy student. The Paldex literally records its catchphrase as 'I think, therefore I am.' Hoocrates is a creature with Descartes opinions. It spawns at night because of course it does. Bring it on your team and it boosts the Attack of your other Dark Pals, like a tiny TA running a study group of menacing nocturnal monsters.
Dark Knowledge
While Hoocrates is in the party, increases the Attack of Dark Pals.
Dark Knowledge increases your Dark-type Pals' Attack while Hoocrates is in the party. Niche, but if you're running a mono-Dark squad this is a strict upgrade.

Gathering 1. That's it. Hoocrates is not a worker. Hoocrates thinks for a living.

How it fights.
HP 70, Defense 80, balanced 70 stat block. Dark typing pairs well against Neutral and Psychic enemies. Good early synergy piece, not a frontline brawler.
Hoocrates only spawns at night, and only in specific biomes. If you can't find one, you're hunting at the wrong shift.
