TD01 vs TD02: Which Palworld TCG Trial Deck Should You Buy?
Dawn of Palpagos ships two trial decks, TD01 (Red·Blue) and TD02 (Green·Purple). Here is what each contains, how they differ, and which to buy first.
The Palworld Official Card Game launches July 30, 2026 with two preconstructed trial decks. They are the cheapest way to start, and each is ready to play out of the box. Here is how TD01 and TD02 compare and which one is right for you.
Quick answer
Both trial decks cost the same and contain the same kit. They differ by color. TD01 is Red·Blue; TD02 is Green·Purple. If you are buying for yourself, pick the color pair that appeals to you. If you are buying to play with a friend, get one of each. That is the cheapest path to a two-player game on day one.
What is in each trial deck
Both Dawn of Palpagos trial decks include the same components:

That means whichever you buy, you get a complete, legal deck plus a booster pack to crack.
TD01: Dawn of Palpagos (Red·Blue)
TD01 uses the Red and Blue colors. Palworld TCG decks are built around two colors, so a trial deck is also a starter identity for deckbuilding later.
TD02: Dawn of Palpagos (Green·Purple)
TD02 uses the Green and Purple colors.
Which should you pick?
- Buying for yourself? Choose by color preference. Both are balanced starter decks designed to teach the game.
- Playing with a friend or partner? Buy both (TD01 + TD02). Two different color pairs make for a more interesting first game, and you will have cards from all four colors to start brewing your own deck.
